I've got rid of Martial now - felt he was underperforming compared with his cost and his injury risk was the icing on the cake for me. However, based on the upcoming fixtures and their previous form/results I have high hopes for GW8. #famouslastwords

Antonio was my captain last week too. Underwhelming performance. Two of my defenders also underwhelmed. Dios and Cancelo with yellows which wiped out their 60min points, but Azpilicueta was my biggest point scorer with two assists (as a defender!) and two bonus points. Werner was a surprise bonus for me as I'd benched him but one of my other defenders wasn't played so his points came in on an automatic substitution. Speaking of good bets, anyone else using Hwang? Three goals and 24 points from only four games. Either he'll have a brilliant season or he'll burn out after a few more games, but for the price he's worth rolling the dice on I reckon.

@mike farrants, you had a good weekend on the pitch. Seems many teams struggled for points this week judging by the average points score but yours was comfortably above average. Who brought home the bacon for you then?

Took Emily for an hour's fluff chucking this afternoon. Our preferred lake was unexpectedly shut, so we moved on to another local lake that has a reputation as a tough water to fish. I've caught here previously but it makes you work for your trout and wasn't going to be ideal for a youngster to keep interested. That said it was a lovely way to spend some one to one time together. We dropped a couple of fish that came off before the net, so at least we were tempting the fish enough to bite but sadly the clock beat us in the end. No fish but a nice memory made.

Good to be out there, but shame about your arm. Hope it gets better in time for the OO charter trip 👍

Trial and error. Set the depth deeper than you think you'll need, then shorten up until the float drifts downtide without catching the bottom and going under.

Trotting is letting the float drift downriver/downtide, with the bait set on the bottom, or just off it. No sea horses involved.
