    Just looked them up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archosargus_probatocephalus They seem very similar to our black bream, but bigger! Lots of teeth and hard mouths and best taken on small hooks. Also good eating. 👍

    Pic was probably taken at slack water. Boat may have been affected more by wind than tide at that point.

    Well she definitely looks the part! You must be glad to be on the water after being buggered about by that other dealer/boat with outboard issues. Now you just need to help @JonC catch something other than rays or whiting. Good luck with that! 🤣

    I suspect you're probably right. Easy to avoid holding the tilt switches too long, and how likely is it really that the motor would get jammed? I guess if nothing else you could investigate soldering the spades & terminals as a running repair.
