That one actually made me laugh out loud 🤣👍
  2. I want to keep a knife at the back of the transom just in case the prop gets wrapped in rope. Can anyone recommend a good one?
  3. Can't help with a combi unit but good on you for bringing Offshore Outlaw down for the meet. If it helps you can always follow the rest of us closely which should keep you out of trouble. 👍
  4. I'm just like that... but with normal fishing.
  5. Well, that sounds like a comedy of errors but fair play for fessing up and posting it all. 🤣👍
  6. I've looked at at the yellow version of that rod in the past for bream. Looks tasty. I wouldn't worry about the 5oz weight... in my opinion that will be more than adequate, given that the target species are best targeted on the drift rather than regular downtiding.
  7. @jonnyswamp you might consider a 9ft spinning rod for light tackle downtiding. I use a 9ft Rovex Plugger 30-60 gram (sadly discontinued but other brands/models are available). You won't be casting with it so you can use heavier leads than it states on the blank, but it'll still be sensitive enough for the delicate bites. For those bream I had a couple of weeks ago I was drifting with that rod and 2oz pear weights - the fish put up a really good scrap on the lighter gear.
  8. Depends on what species you fancy chasing. Generally I'd say squid and fish baits would be fine, but if you want to hunt for a plaice then worm would be the preferred bait. Might also be worth bringing a few hardback for the smoothounds, or bring a crab net and see what you can rustle up from under your berth.
  9. Good session. Well done to you all... well, maybe not Lucky John... 🤣 Who's that grumpy bugger in the second to last photo? Tell him to smile for the camera next time 😉🤣
  10. Looks spot on for some lure fishing close in along the SW coastline over here. How much to put it in a container and ship it to the UK I wonder. Shipping and VAT would likely make it uneconomical but I do like that little hull. 🤔🤔
  11. Looks like a nice little tub. 👍

It's amazing how he can eat upside down!
  13. I hope you're right. It would be a shame if they end their Suzuki support.
  14. Very nice Tony! 👍

Top dangling that man!!! Quality report! Well done and thanks for sharing Josh. As always you seem to come up with the goods! Lovely pics too. 👍
  17. Do you mean "tache"? As in moustache?👨 #spellingpolice 🚨
  18. Had my second jab today. Cheers all! 🍻🍻
  19. Who's out this weekend then? Looks to have been some decent weather today and turning thundery tomorrow.
  20. Don't start that again 🤣. Land Rovers are for masochists who like fixing things.
  21. I suspect you're right about that, or at the very least "no quarantine if double-jabbed".
  22. Shit the bed!! What made you change your mind then? PS: Well done. 👍
  23. Breaking news today: https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2021/06/24/2252408/0/en/Brunswick-to-Acquire-Navico-Will-Enhance-Leadership-Position-in-Marine-Technology-and-Strengthen-Global-Parts-Accessories-Business.html So what? My 2 cents is that this will mean the end of Lowrance/Simrad/B&G's collaboration with Suzuki for engine management integration, and instead they will add support for Mercury engines and for SmartCraft data to be viewed on their MFD's, given that Brunswick also owns the Mercury brand.
  24. @GPSguru will be your man for this.
