  1. Terry and I are working on that. In the meantime have a read of this: https://www.jigabite.co.uk/Slow Pitch Jigging Explained.pdf
  2. So you're out of practice then? I've got it in the bag 🤣👍
  3. That's a bit shit for you. Can you bin your order and look elsewhere? A bit cheeky of Ford to bump all the small guys in favour of one big order.
  4. Bring it on Ivan 🤣👍
  5. Yeah but he had his butler put it in there...
  6. Ok, ok, laugh it up why don't you 🤣
  7. And I thought I had it all under control!!! 🤣
  8. @Terry Smith, I've just put in another order with you online. Can't get enough of all that shiny goodness! 😆
  9. Glad I have a couple of those then! 😉👍
  10. Wow! What a cracking fish!! What jig did it take? What depth? Where in the world were you fishing?
  11. Got any pics? I would have thought that the same principle applies i.e. thinner line = less weight needed to stay vertical.
  12. @Terry Smith, we have a Personal Bests gallery thread running. Would be great if you can share some pics of fish caught by SPJ? https://www.offshoreoutlaws.co.uk/forum/28-pb-gallery/
  13. You weren't wrong! Looks lush in there 🤓
  14. 😲 I can foresee an Outlaws Outing to visit Terry's showroom after lockdown!! Looks amazing 👍
  15. 8/10 for that one. New to me and made me giggle 🤣👍
  16. Welcome aboard Terry. Looking forward to tapping into some of your knowledge in due course 👍
  17. Lol, there is no way anyone can successfully pimp a Skoda, matt finish or not! 🤣
  18. In which case, go ahead and try it, then let us know how you get on 😉
  19. The action of a beachcaster will be different to that of a jigging rod. Take a look at some of the jigging vids that @GPSguru posted on the slow jigging thread and you'll see what I mean. Those jigging rods are through-action, meaning they bend right down to the butt and the fish is played on the drag, not on the rod. I suspect that the top two thirds of a beachcaster wouldn't bend in the same way and wouldn't flick the jigs to get them working successfully.
  20. The Mark 1 Gravitate has the spiral wrapped guides, the 2.0 has straight (traditional) guides. Terry and I discussed this and the 2.0 seems to be a backward step in respect of rod design, given that spiral wrapped guides are considered to be a better design for jigging rods.
  21. @Terry Smith, the rod and gear arrived this afternoon. Looks great - many thanks!
