  1. 🤣🤣 "And mind you take your shoes off before coming in here, you'll leave a trail of muck and I've just hoovered!"
  2. We attempted to anchor a local wreck about a month ago but didn't bother in the end due to the swell. My plan was to keep it simple and use a basic running ledger - less tackle to lose in the wreck or amongst the debris. I also planned to use a chum tube to get a load of scent into the wreck to draw the fish out. Might be worth considering?
  3. Busy eh? Well, you can stay busy by posting up an Intro thread and some pics of Jupiter's Moon in the Show us yer Boat thread 😉 Let's just say your absence was noticed 👍
  4. Yeah, but I can't get the chunks to stay on the hook.
  5. If this is accurate for the south coast, the it may explain why I'm not catching more doggies. I mostly use squid or squid and lug. I have some frozen sandeel in the freezer so I'll give them a try next time and report back. Anyone got any other guaranteed baits for dogfish?
  6. Hi Jeff, No idea on the Optimax but good to see you on the new forum (finally!) 😉
  7. Any reason why you couldn't start your own thread for your gag Jon? Leading by example and all that...
  8. As Neil says, I've moved over to treating bait knives as disposable items. I found a Kitchen Devil knife in my local Sainsbury's for £3.50. Painfully sharp and cheap enough to not worry if it goes overboard.
  9. If we're talking about the VHF, then I think that was @Odyssey selling, not Geoff. If we're talking about something else then I'm totally confused 🥴
  10. Let's see what people can suggest either way Jon 😉
  11. What bait do you find works best for attracting dogfish in your area? Interested to hear what works and what doesn't. I might be missing a trick, so come on and share your findings 😉
  12. Where on earth did you hear that one Swampy?! 😬🤣
  13. No you didn't! You said your Mrs wouldn't let you! #underthethumb
  14. What fuel line does Yamaha recommend for your engines? They've likely specced it for the max fuel flow that your engines need.
  15. Don't hold your breath. We've probably built it up too much already. There's only so much enthusiasm we can muster for someone else's sex toy.
  16. He's fine, but the van's up on blocks - they've already nicked his wheels...
  17. Flicking his under-chassis lights on and off in time to the beat...
  18. No, I was referring to his mains-powered Bad-Ass-Big-Boy revolving butt plug.
  19. Go on then - post up some pics so that the whole class can see 😉👍
  20. Welcome Dermot. If you haven't already, don't forget to post up an Intro in the Introductions thread 👍
  21. If they turn out anything like this then Geoff will be beating a path to their door!
