  1. Keep us posted with the search and purchase, and don't forget to post up some photos of whichever boat you go for 😉
  2. So what's the trick to eating them? I tried them once and found them a bit mushy.
  3. Lordy! I can see you're getting right into the Outlaw spirit 🙄🤣👍
  4. Three men on a photoshoot...?? 🤔
  5. See @moonlighter, I told you he'd get ideas! 🤣
  6. Cracking write-up! Well done. Sounds like a great session, seal notwithstanding! Did you keep any of the whiting? The better sized ones make good eating. Quiche eh? Careful or you'll give @Saintly Fishideas for when he's on my boat next - he'll be expecting full silver service before we know it! 🤣
  7. One other suggestion for you. 17ft Wilson Flyer. Minimal cuddy/cabin space so should fish 3 ok, it has a dory hull and shallow draft and therefore can get in and out in shallower water than a V hull. Could even go for the bigger versions if space was a must. They did a 24ft version from memory and may have done a 21ft version too.
  8. Yeah, but did you catch any dogfish??
  9. Bad luck Dave. As Neil says, a good walk is never a bad thing... #clutchingatstraws 🤣
  10. So.... where's the dogfish??
  11. He didn't ask for pretty. And it would work if he can't fit a proper ladder.
  12. Also remember that if all else fails you can step on the cavitation plate of your outboard and use the trim/tilt switch to lift you up out of the water enough to scramble into the splashwell. But this really is a last resort and shouldn't be used instead of a boarding ladder
  13. Or if a ladder really isn't possible, how about folding step brackets. Two or three of these should be enough to bring someone aboard. https://www.gsproducts.co.uk/stainless-steel-large-folding-boat-step/?gclid=Cj0KCQiAqo3-BRDoARIsAE5vnaJCl8Aoqxg2Wu75yKBSBcDgPrh6rnYrc0gC8i6SECabIeky3qYOXqwaAsXVEALw_wcB
  14. How about a folding version that is kept stowed in the splashwell until it's needed? If you ever have to use it in anger I'm guessing you won't be too bothered about whether it knocks a transducer out of alignment... Something like this. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/303617881663?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=303617881663&targetid=1000009159147&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=1007009&poi=&campaignid=10199631724&mkgroupid=103308049633&rlsatarget=pla-1000009159147&abcId=1145987&merchantid=7197284&gclid=Cj0KCQiAqo3-BRDoARIsAE5vnaJAk0ExjYSR2zGKockiwT6_S88H-L31yXfPYqTX_be0oYXP44gpWfwaAt46EALw_wcB
  15. That does feel a bit cheeky! In effect he wants to charge you for mis-selling you an item. 🤷‍♂️

Just like your girlfriend, this joke isn't pretty either... 🐴

    And that's being generous...
  18. Very good Swampy. Made I chuckle 👍
  19. Sod off! 🤣 At least I put a bit of effort into bumping my fish. You merely have to touch your rod for the fish to spit the bait...
  20. Got to love it when a plan comes together 👍 I particularly admire the fact that you set out to target dogfish with the sliders! A man after my own heart 🤣👍 #dogfishloversunite!
  21. Yep. Come on @240z, let's see and hear it in full technicolor please! 🤣👍
  22. I'll have you know I aimed for that anemone! 🤣 #pureskill
  23. Spot on Alan. Good work. As an FYI I've deleted your post in the Boat catch reports as we already have your report in the Shore section 👍 Well done again. An impressive session using a new technique 🎣
  24. Top day out Neil, and well done to Leo for that very nice ray indeed. 🎣🎣 Definitely agree though that the next trip out is for the dads only. Honestly I don't know how they manage to be so loud and excitable for so long! 🤣👍
