    A neighbour of mine has the Dmax and really rates it. He's had his from new and uses it for commuting and occasional load lugging. Shame yours isn't the auto. No experience of the Mazda I'm afraid.

    Thanks and yes, we had her up to 31kts coming back over Culver Spit. I had my daughter with me and she kept egging me on; "Faster Daddy!" 🤣 I ran out of bravery before the engine ran out of revs - it had another 500rpm to give.

    Yes. Intended use for this one is before and after a trip out, and when I'm working on her on her service rack in the dark. Head torches for night fishing to avoid draining the House batt.

    Welcome to Offshore Outlaws! Good to have you with us. As Jon says we're growing fast. There's plenty of chat and banter here, and fishing & boating too when the weather allows. I used to have an Orkey 440. Orkney's are well made boats. Good choice 👍

    Mine was a Disco 2 TD5. After I went through new ball joints x2, air suspension bags x2, a major service, a new gearbox and a weeping core plug all in the space of 6 months I got rid of it. They say the two best days in a boat owners life are they day you buy it and the day you sell it... the same was true for my LR ownership.

    Which reminds me - I had my PB 67cm bass on a Komomo II in Lemon Back Pearl flavour. I have lots of time for those lures 👍
