    How would they wrap a boat that's not on a trailer? Presume you'd have to get your boat put onto blocks and they'd wrap just the top half of the hull? If you're going to do it, you may as well get something properly unique. Logos/branding or some custom type of colour scheme. Seems a bit "meh" to get a wrap of the same colour as you already have. A missed opportunity perhaps?

    Yes I expect so. I'll need a fabricator near the boat though, not near me, as I presume they'll want to get access to the boat to measure up before starting any fab.

    Thanks Mick - I gave him a call and an email last week but so far I've not had any response. I understand that this is quite usual for him... not sure how I feel about that though.

    Thanks Geoff - she's a work in progress but most of the big (aka expensive) stuff has been sorted now. Just the little bits to finish off - new wiper blades, new fire extinguishers, new hull vinyls and so on. The hull needs a good cut & polish but that can wait until spring.

    I always used to prefer Navionics, and probably still do for general navigation, but I've been really impressed by the C-Map Reveal charts with their almost photo-like sea floor contour mapping. From memory Garmin kit only runs their own cartography? Could be wrong on that though, but Navionics and C-Map availability is one of the reasons I use Lowrance plotters, plus the fact that I find their user interface to be intuitive. I also like the fact that they offer a wide range of additional hardware add-ons.

    I can't remember to be honest but as a general rule I'd go for multiple routers/wifi repeaters rather than one big router.
