  1. You know what?!? All my terminal tackle and leader spools are on the boat.. and I'm unlikely to be able to go down to the boat to get them before Thurs! 🤦‍♂️
  2. UPDATE: 09.15pm 01/11/2020 The Angling Trust is pleased that the government has recognised the value of allowing angling and other forms of outdoor recreation to continue – with members of your own household or with one other individual – through next month’s lockdown. It seems that tackle shops will still be able to operate a ‘click and collect’ service. So we are still fishing. Whilst we need to see the precise details in the regulations laid before Parliament on Monday it is likely there will be impacts on certain areas of our sport and we will update everybody just as soon as we are able to do so. Thanks for your patience From the Angling Trust website here: https://anglingtrust.net/2020/10/31/angling-trust-lobby-government-to-keep-the-country-fishing/ So as we await the small print, let's keep our fingers crossed that we can get access to our boats... otherwise the Stinky Baits forum will get busy 😄
  3. Go on Dev, put her up there. Every boat is beautiful to us 👍
  4. Glad you found us again Dev. Was wondering where you'd got to. Hope your business is going well, given the Covid situation?? 😬😷
  5. Presuming you're using a computer, you can paste the URL into the File Explorer window when selecting your picture. I tested it myself earlier today.
  6. Yes, Neil is correct. It was mandatory for a couple of hours then it was made optional, until next week. You must have logged in during the mandatory window.
  7. If it's like mine, there will be two or three pairs of wires that the L&R speaker cables are connected to, that serve Zones 1 and 2/3. I only have two speakers, connected to the wires for Zone 1. The wires coming out of the unit for other two zones are just left as flying leads that are wrapped up and tucked out of harms way. If yours are wired correctly, you'll have the speakers for the cabin wired to the Zone 1 wires, and the deck speakers will be wired to Zone 2. You should be able to select which zone to play on your Simrad when it's connected to the same network as your Fusion unit.
  8. Give him time... the night is young...
  9. Funny and fishing related. Have an 8/10 for that one 👍
  10. Welcome to the madhouse. You'll fit right in 😉 Good to have you with us. Sounds like you must have a wealth of relevant knowledge that our members would be interested to hear more about. I hear that Kerry is a lovely part of the world. Never been myself but friends who have been have only good things to say about it. More than slightly envious of your location 👍.
  11. I'm guessing you followed the instructions at the top of this thread?
  12. The profile photo is what we see on our profiles next to our posts Pete.
  13. I've just set up a profile photo reminder that will appear each time you log in if you've not yet added a profile photo. This is an optional step for now - you can click "later" and skip the photo upload process. In a week's time I'll flip it to become a "required" step. The file size limit for profile photos is 500kb, so have your photos ready resized before uploading 👍.
  14. Aww - sorry to hear Spence. It never gets any easier does it? 😢
  15. Wow! Makes mine look like an angel then. Mine's eaten plasticine in the past, but I guess we've been lucky as she doesn't seem too fussed about anything other than food. #famouslastwords!
  16. To be fair, I think you have it pretty well covered. Perhaps think about a bait knife and chopping board, plus bait elastic, and also a hand towel or rag to clean your hands on after baiting up. I also have some soft handled long nosed pliers on board to help with hook removal in those cases where a T-bar doesn't work e.g. deep hooked fish. Also think about a fish measure or tape measure so that you can accurately measure any fish you want to keep - means you can be certain that they're in size before you knock them on the head.
  17. I recently bought another Lowrance plotter, and in order to benefit from the Cashback offer they're running (details here: https://www.lowrance.com/en-gb/upgrade/) I ordered another Reveal chart with the Plotter. I deliberately went for the Reveal card as I know it will be desirable and therefore easier to sell on - I don't need a second one as my existing Reveal card is networked to all my plotters already. Based on your location I don't believe the card I have for sale will be useful for you however, as I don't think it covers far enough north for your patch. You'd need the "Nth Channel to Firth of Forth" version I believe.
  18. A Fenline is a boat that Geoff has been building since before Noah was a boy. The rest of us are running a book on when it'll finally see the salt. The smart money is on sometime just after the heat death of the universe...
  19. Could be Ian. I think I have some numbers for the Fallodon somewhere that I'll dig out and cross-reference with my plotter. So many wrecks, so little time! 😖
  20. 🤣🤣 I actually laughed out loud at that!
