Any waterproof grease will do the trick. Most Chandlery places will sell you some. -

Over the last few seasons I've set myself a bucket list of places to fish and species to catch. Norway for halibut, UK for various shark species, tuna even, Alderney for turbot and wrecking on the way. I'm woefully lacking on all of these, but what about you? What's on your fishing bucket list?

Pouring leads is quite straightforward Geoff. The trick is to pre-warm the moulds so that the molten lead flows nicely all the way to the bottom. I do a pre-pour and half fill the mould to warm it then re-melt the half-lead again. If you have a temp controlled melt pot then you're laughing. I like the idea of OO branded leads. Except I wouldn't want to lose them!

The 330c is very old tech. Bear in mind that this particular example has unknown-to-you history and could have had a hard life. Does it work? Can you see it working and test all the buttons/functions etc? If it were me, I'd keep my money in my pocket to put towards a new Lowrance Hook2 or similar but if you feel obliged to make him an offer then Zook has made a good suggestion: £25 for the o/b and £25 for the plotter.
