  1. That is a beast! Well dangled! ๐Ÿ‘
  2. Thanks for sharing. Must have been some serious conditions to capsize a cat like that?!
  3. Wow! Thanks for sharing. I had no idea that tuna made it that far north. Every day's a school day ๐Ÿ‘
  4. Welcome of Offshore Outlaws Jack! Hope you enjoy the forumย ๐Ÿ‘

  5. Sorry Adam. I'm drawing a blank on this. I've got as far as it being a 60F 6H2 engine of some description but your serial plate doesn't match any of the usual Yamaha configurations online. They usually have the serial number in the uppermost white box. I can't work out whether the 1998 is a year or a 4 digit serial number. Have a look here for an example: https://www.perfprotech.com/blog/yamaha-outboards/yamaha-outboard-serial-number-location-and-model-identification You could also spend some time going through the permutations on the Yamaha publications site here: https://www.yamahapubs.com/. I had a quick look and they list three different types of 2 stroke 60hp outboard model made in 1998, none of which seem to relate to a 60F engine. Not sure if any of them matches your engine though.
  6. I can't criticise... I was using the Command Prompt for stitching MP3's together last week... it's the most reliable way to do it that doesn't involve uploading your files to some random site.
  7. So here's a biggie to start us off.... a whiting last winter... And there's a bonus @Tadpolein the background - complete with winter 'tache!
  8. The intent is to have a social side... if we're allowed given whatever Covid restrictions might still be in force by then. Fingers crossed we can all get together over a beer, but there is the possibility that we might simply have to agree a mark to anchor up on en masse and have a socially distanced dangle. We'll know nearer the time and confirm plans as appropriate.
  9. Would be great if you can make it Martin. I'd suggest that if there's a group of PBSBAC members up for making the trip we could try to arrange a location to suit. Yarmouth or Lymington would be the closest to you.
  10. Good write up. Sounds like a productive day, even if the unicorns stayed away. Like you, I've been hearing of them in the Solent proper. Maybe worth turning right next time out...
  11. I beach launched my Predator 165 for the last 4 years. The trick is mostly to keep the boat moving when you're on the shingle as it's a pain to get it going again once it digs in.
  12. Good choice to go for white. Really changes the feel of the boat - looks very sleek ๐Ÿ‘
  13. Any chance of a catch report Scott? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sorry to hear that the fishing's not so good. Mind you, I keep thinking the same about the south coast, but usually @Saintly Fish goes and bags up from the same mark and I realise it must be just me that's shit, not the fishing ๐Ÿ˜ข
  15. Another Solent angler! An extra-big welcome then - there are a few of us on here from that part of the coast. ๐Ÿ‘
  16. Welcome to the Outlaws! Don't mind Saintly - he's grumpy today for some reason. What I think he meant to ask was to tell us a bit about yourself. What kind of fishing are you into? What species, techniques etc. How long have you been boating for etc. Glad you like the site - it's fresh out of the box and we're still building it, so bear with us if we don't always get it right first time. Feel free to take a look around and contribute where you can. Tight lines!
  17. Welcome to the forum! She looks lovely. Make/model? Edit: you beat me to it. Good looking tub.
  18. Ok, I think we need a facepalm option under the "Like" menu as that's the second time today I've caught you making a "Dad" joke, and it's even worse than the first! 1/10 at best - go stand in the corner and think about what you've done... ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ
