  1. The thing you use to look at the stuff stored on your PC. Type File Explorer into your system search bar (not Google/Bing search).
  2. 🤣 I always thought there was something funny about you!
  3. Can you take a pic of the message and post it up? Do you have the option to click OK to the message? Is the SD card password protected or locked (is there a little sliding switch on one side of the SD card that has been accidentally moved to the "locked" position?).
  4. Except that wouldn't be my first spear catch... do keep up 🙄
  5. That was a nice bass. Didn't we put it down to beginner's luck? And with his little baitcaster too 🤣
  6. Nice one Dicky - good effort and well deserved rewards. 👍
  7. Last weekend I spotted this little chap doing laps of his rock pool. I've never come across one in a rock pool before. He seemed healthy enough so I left him there until the next HW rather than try to fish him out and stress him.
  8. A bonus dab! Not to be sniffed at. Well done. 👍
  9. Top dangling Ian and crews 👍
  10. As a pre-emptive excuse for blanking this season, that's a pretty good one.
  11. Well, we've had threads here previously on why Garmin maps are not downloading or how to update them etc. I think mostly from @Saintly Fish to be fair so it could just be user fuckwittery but we haven't had any similar threads for Lowrance, because Lowrance software usually just works.
  12. PM me your address and I'll put a couple of Offshore Outlaws stickers in the post 👍
  13. After my uncharacteristic success with mackerel yesterday Mrs135 and I treated ourselves to a mackerel starter this evening. Two mackerel fillets, a generous dose of lime juice, a healthy sprinkle of rock salt, a twist of black pepper and two or three pinches each of turmeric, ground coriander and ground cumin. Fry skin side down for two minutes, and skin side up for a further minute then simply serve on it's own for a fragrant, juicy appetizer. Delicious!
  14. Got to be out there learning the mark to win it next time, so well done for putting in the legwork. It'll be all the sweeter when you nail a big bass there in future 👍
  15. We're in the west country pile this weekend and the wife and kids wanted to watch the coronation, so I spotted a chance to get out whilst I wouldn't be missed. A quick dash south and I was on the rocks under St Catherine's castle in Fowey, casting a Major Craft Jigpara 30g slow jig in Zebra Glow. First cast, fish on! Quickly followed by several more. In fact it took me until cast #5 NOT to catch a mackerel! It didn't take long to bag up... in fact I probably put more back than I took home. I switched to a Fiiish Black Minnow to see if I could catch anything other than mackerel but sadly not. Still, better than watching the coronation IMO. 🙊 I'll post up a Catch and Cook post shortly. The kids just ate some of them for tea and Mrs135 and I are planning on more of them for ours a bit later 👍
  16. When I had boats I would take my rods home after each trip. Partly for security and partly because if I was invited out on other boats I had easy access to my rods if they were at home. Bearing in mind that I live 90 mins from the coast and therefore from my boats, it would be a ballache to need to travel 90 mins to collect my gear then travel elsewhere for a guest trip.
  17. Friendly reminder for us all that @Jon cook's thread is in danger of being trashed. Can we keep it on topic and vaguely civil please?
  18. You mean you're too tight to pay someone else to dig holes.
  19. I thought you had someone lined up to do all that? Or did he bail out?
