After my uncharacteristic success with mackerel yesterday Mrs135 and I treated ourselves to a mackerel starter this evening.
Two mackerel fillets, a generous dose of lime juice, a healthy sprinkle of rock salt, a twist of black pepper and two or three pinches each of turmeric, ground coriander and ground cumin.
Fry skin side down for two minutes, and skin side up for a further minute then simply serve on it's own for a fragrant, juicy appetizer. Delicious!
