  1. Yeah, but I do have a contract with them, for parking which I paid for fair & square.
  2. That would require me to be a member of a lodge. Which I am not.
  3. Yeah, it's just an invoice dressed up as a Penalty Charge Notice. I've submitted a challenge and uploaded my proof of payment on their website, so let's see what happens next.
  4. This should be fun, seeing as I have an online payment receipt from Horizon for the time and date in question. Muppets...
  5. I skinned and shallow-fried a deep hooked dogfish a few seasons ago. My son and I tried it and we both agreed it tasted bland with a mushy texture. Not very pleasant. Might just have been the cooking method and perhaps they can make them taste better over there but I wasn't impressed with the humble Solent Salmon.
  6. Nope, it's just a meme that recycles a golden oldie. Not worthy of a "funny" in it's own right.
  7. Fair play to them for trying. The recieved wisdom seems to be that there's precious little left worth catching in the Med these days due to overfishing. Any idea what they were after?
  8. That gag still makes me chuckle even now. 👍
  9. New outboard engine layout and 2-stroke cycle. Seems to be using what Bombardier learned from their Evinrude engines. https://www.mby.com/gear/rotax-stealth-outboard-123165 They make some big promises but could be interesting for some boats.
  10. Well done on the PB, but I'd rather not catch them. Make a slimy mess of everything. 😖
  11. Right, that's it. I'm booking a flight! 👍👍
  12. Nice. Always good to see how they dangle elsewhere. Any chance of you wetting a line yourself instead of cashing in on other people's catches? 😜🤣
  13. Top dogfish! Well done. Beats a cod any day... 😳🤣
  14. Andy the spelling monitor will also be along to correct your spelling of "peeve". #musttryharder
  15. Also, I use an aluminium pan for melting the lead which isn't great for heat retention. Sometimes I have to heat the sides of the pan with a torch before pouring to stop the lead from cooling too much. Iron is likely better.
  16. @thejollysinker, do you find your first pour in a mould throws a sub-standard lead? I find I need to heat up the moulds with a blowtorch to get them up to temp before pouring otherwise the lead is crap as it cools too quickly around the mouth of the mould and closes up.
  17. Good stuff. Fingers crossed it's a simple fix after all 🤞
  18. Well done Luke, that's actually quite funny 🤣
