  1. Hi all, I have a nanni t4.155hp engine 4.380. To add to my box of spares I want to get the heat exchanger O rings. Need 4 but nanni ones (ref 48418167) are £18 EACH!!!!!

Does anyone know the actual size so I can go to an engineering shop and get them for about£2 each??

  2. A Fully working Suzuki DF5 4 stroke long shaft outboard

    2005 with very few hours

Has just had full service including oil, gearbox oil, water pump impeller, plugs, card clean and rebuild.

Works perfectly, starts easily and pumps water well.

Has some age related scratches on cowling but nothing serious.

Comes with external fuel tank and line - has small internal tank as well

Have videos of this running. And lots more photos

Obviosly collection only from St Leonards, East Sussex

  3. Probably going to be a bit controversial!!

I have a suzuki 5 hp four stroke outboard that I used on my pilothouse 640 as an auxiliary (actually never used it)

Now I have a much heavier Beneteau Antares 7 with nanni 155hp engine with just 200 hours on which is serviced every year.

First question.... is the 5 hp actually going to be big enough??

Second Question... with amount of radios, electronics, life saving equipment we have on board (everything except a life raft) is it actually worth having an auxiliary. Only ever 12 miles out and right between two lifeboat stations.

    Any thoughts very welcome.

  4. Engine serviced every year since new. Cruises at 2800rpm at 16knots. Top end is 24 knots. So a lot slower than my old Quicksilver 640 but 90% of the time you get to marks in the same time as you don't have to back off because of the horrible slamming. So much more comfortable, civilised (even has a proper toilet) and just as much deck space.

Problem is someone seems to have stolen all the cod from sussex!!
