    I did personally in 2022 and 2023 and my boat also came second best Bass this year (third year) with my brother in laws Bass, the prizes retailed at about 2k over the last three years with cash as well so I class that as winning especially out of 60+ boats😉

    Me and Jon C entered Brightlingsea Boat Comp on Sunday, the tide was awful, the sea conditions were terrible and the weather was crap but despite that Jon C won a £50 chandler voucher with best unusual catch which was an 8lb Stingray, we both enjoyed the 3 hour raffle after as well which meant we missed all the football but we made great use of Jon C’s Willy Wang Air horn abusing Bradwell beach goers as we passed them.

    The new ugly stiks are excellent, my rhinos are also very good for the money although I think the company folded or got absorbed, I have a tournament as well but don’t rate it.

    I thought the admin invested another £2 a year each for unlimited picture size now we are having to re size them again, I feel like I am being punished for being a rich successful competition winner with a nice phone🤣🤣🤣🤣

    My Penn Fathoms are over worked, the amount of massive fish they reel in weekly is why they are noisy, Jon’s reels are virtually still brand having never caught a notable fish in over a years use🤣🤣🤣

    If you’re fishing on Jon’s boat there’s a greater chance you either spend the day doing donuts with his autopilot or breaking down🤣🤣 and because I won’t be fishing out of the river he has no one to follow! You will be catching whiting all day in the stink🤣🤣

    When he says unhook fish he means knock them off with the net, unbelievable I can solo net a 7 pound fish but Jon cannot net a 3lber🤣🤣 my digital scales on the boat are temperamental that’s why I weighed it again on land with different scales, need some good ones🎣

    Caught today 7lb 7oz Silver Bar on Ragworm, gut hooked unfortunately and faffed and about too much unhooking it to put it back which was a shame, will be eaten in honour🎣

    Only joshing🤣🤣 shortly after my boat sale fail with Just Fishing Boats he changed the wording of the warranty’s to the information I am given regarding the boat history is what I give to you, so basically you tell him you just had a boat serviced when you didn’t he sells it as just been serviced even though you could have a damaged impeller etc, anyway all said and done I got the Bass Killer now so all good.

    Not read the whole thread but teignmouth is basically Basildon on sea, whatever boat you buy will get robbed.

    What’s the ruling on when fishing decent bass grounds and a boat roars up on you causing massive waves (spilt my vegan cappuccino) anchors 30ft away and steals all my fish (my fish because it’s my sea because I was here first) I’m sick of it happening all the time always the same person and the same boat and if it’s not the same boat it’s the same person on my boat.
