That was a 28lb conger but because of offshores tight budget it was resized to 5lb🤣🤣🤣 -
I didn’t get a survey done on my Arvor and it’s a great boat, unfortunately people like to lie about service history to sell boats.

Ahh interesting to know, yes it is quite important to me, ironically my older plotter is very quick on direction, I will need to look into a package I guess, I’d like to think my in hull transducer will work on another raymarine product, I don’t want hassle I want plug and play. -

I like the one Jon c bought, only issues with it I see was inference due to transom mount transducer which I wouldn’t use anyway and if I’m honest it did seem a little slow on positioning, it might sound silly but I rely on the direction the boat is facing via the plotter for positioning myself on banks etc, sometimes it didn’t seem to catch up, and as a brand new unit I wouldn’t expect it to freeze up and need rebooting, although having said that johns fingers are so big that when the average person hits one button Jon hits 4 so it could be that. -

My original plotter is outdated, a lot of the buoys have been moved in river and do not show on my plotter in the correct locations, it’s also a bit clunky and lacks options, my current transducer is raymarine. -

You are spot on with that, I watched a YouTube tutorial on the axiom 7 and the operating system was simple but fast, also was really customisable. -

Looking to upgrade my charter plotter in the future, looking for opinions on best models/brands etc, being drawn to the Garminge but would like to see what people have, I will be using a through hull transducer.

Well I’d give them to you but the fact you can’t catch fish with bait leaves me thinking they wouldn’t be much use🤣🤣🤣

It was just shy of 5lb but because of people like Jon C putting lead shot down there necks when they weigh fish it was all done by length, 58cm to the fork, 61cm won it, it was a pretty poor day all day, raining most of it, but it was a good crack!

I entered my boat Maggie May into the Crouch Open Boat Competition, 45 boats entered, 173 anglers and I took second place for Bass🎣 £150 cash prize and loads of fishing stuff. p.s no Jon C I will still not give you an autograph.

It was a good day, its good fishing waters we haven’t been before not necessarily always the best for actual catches, we also clarified a position we was also given called the Kirbys we actually sat in wrong spot then realised all the other boats were sitting in a line further up, that produced plenty of small bass and smoothies, forever a learning curve.

Me and Jon went fishing today on his boat, we went everywhere with not great catches, but at the end of the day I whooped him with a 12lb skate and 6lb bass Jon will no doubt argue these weights but I was reeling them in so I know the weights were true, can everyone congratulate Jon on actually leaving the black water, I have pictures but I find resizing them tedious, Jon can do it for me when he argues the fish actual weights🤣🤣🍻🎣🍻🎣🍻🎣🍻🎣🍻🎣

Jon c is leaving the safety and comfort of the black water tomorrow to engage in real fishing in real waters, please like this post and pray for Jon c, #makeitbackjonc #gogetembigguy #prayforjonc
