Looks nice! What did you get out of her at sea trial?

62 knots🤣🤣 no sea trial, Hartlepool marina is locked and add to the mix we were still kinda locked down, shouldn’t have travelled to look at it to be honest, add in to the mix I bought it with it needing a full service haha, seen it cold start with no use after 3 months on the button, no smoke or anything, boat hasn’t moved for a year because of covid, I looked under the bonnet and kicked the tyres💁🏻‍♂️ We are lucky to have arguably the best Arvor engineer right on our door step, I’ll deal with any issues as we come across them, it’s now a case of how much money needs to be thrown at it.

Well done Mickey! Glad you're on the water just in time for lockdown to lift and for you to get out and catch some fish 👍

She looks great. Got any more pics of her?

Are you planning to keep the name or change it for something more personal to you?

PS: new boat... is that why the weather looks iffy for the next few weeks then eh? At least we know who to blame now! 😉🤣

Haha it was blowing yesterday while I was sitting on it! I doubt I’ll change the name to be honest not that I’m superstitious, it’s a name I quite like anyway, the irony was she was built in 2008 first sold in 2009 and went up north, she was actually built (put together) one marina up from mine at Essex, funny after 12 years she comes home almost! Quite like the sentiment with it.

  3. Well it’s a long story but after the shambles of the last one, which I got offered back repaired for £1500 more than I first paid for it I started looking elsewhere, see a quicksilver on Apollo Ducks website at Hartlepool Marina but literally missed it by 2 hours, the bloke selling it said he thinks his mate was going to sell his Arvor 210, obviously I didn’t hold out on him contacting me but he actually did, 9 hour drive later a cheeky bid and it was bought, it is already hauled down to my marina now where it’s sitting on blocks, doing a few bits on it, should be back in the water by end of next week, then Stuart Monk will do a full service on it and hopefully after that I’ll get fishing🎣🛥💨
