  2. Went fishing out of Gloucester, had a Blue Fin on for over 5 hours, got it to boat , skipper missed with the dart, under boat and off !!! FFS is an understatement

  6. Only managed to get a few hours onboard doing the jobs, all kit fitted but now adding new fuse block and wiring from leisure battery getting rid of the spiders web of old wiring along the way 🙂
  7. Think one of my batterys has given up the ghost , showing 12.2v but wont turn the starter, any ideas or is it a new battery? if so recommendations please.

  9. I have it on my tablet, i think it is good, however i can not sync with plotter as not compatible , have a lowrance hds carbon, but it is compatible with a lot of plotters i will just manually add info if needed

  11. Do you have a battery charge splitter on your tub ? if so what are the benefits or on the other hand downfall if you dont have 1 ?

  15. Has anyone ever extended a transducer cable successfully ? I need to extend and they are about £80! For the 3d structurescan cable ext and £50 for the lowrance blue plug one all ideas appreciated
  16. I have it attached to the transom on a rope about 3m long, the basket has a small float attached on the inside so the top is on the surface or just below and the basket catches the tide
  17. Not really a rudder although you can use your rudder to offset your boat when at anchor, this is more to keep her laying with the tide if you have a side wind
  18. I use a prawn basket when at anchor, if the wind is blowing to keep straight in the tide
