got me thinking about a Nomura Kanji 30-70g now.......
just for inshore jigging/lures - bass, pollock, wrasse, even mackerel for fun
what reel to pair with it though? i have an abu cardinal 54fd, and a shakespear rear drag FS
Yeah cracking week! Salah got me more points on his own than my top week this season! Plus I got lucky with others! 🤙🏻
had 12 points on the bench though… so could have been even higher!
pugwash is holding up well - some bungee snapped on her cover so had to lash the sides down again - shes moving around a lot on the pontoon - but well protected with fenders.
others not so good - mostly the yachts - Booms swinging, self furled jibs unfurling and wildly thrashing about, SUPs flying about and covers/biminis all over the place!
all my house windows and cars are covered in salty sea spray - the T4 might rust away overnight on the drive!!
my front fence - 3 out of 4 posts gone at the base....... its a goner - it wont hold on much longer
back fence one post was already gone - my quick repair with slabs and bags of compost seems to be holding so far!
stay safe everyone - its pretty brutal here at the moment!
its a bit Mork here.........
all i can hear is the shingle getting slammed - and i'm over a mile away from chesil - but the noise from it is something else - its like having a motorway nearby - a constant rumble, will be interest into see the aftermatch over at portland/chesil cove - the poor houses there will be being pelted with stones and debris - and the stones are BIG at the portland end!
me too - might hit my local......
kind of glad im working friday......
sunday might be good - it'll be too blown out here on saturday.
and forget kimmeridge........
welcome and cracking looking boat - i lived in plymouth for 7 yrs back in the late 90s but not in my fishing days - i was surfing and studying back then - but Plymouth must have huge fishing scope! great location!
not even shore fishing here - i can hear Chesil getting slammed form home when its big!
Friday looks terrible.
my fault - sorry - i booked a charter this weekend......
