Lovely looking boat, although a V8 petrol might be expensive when you open it up.

Welcome Adam,I think we purchased our blue hulled 23's at around the same period although mine was ready to go but you have moved on to better things 😀, i watched your threads on the builds of both boats and must say you did a excellent job in both cases.

Nice report and great that the mackerel are starting to show, pity about the lost fish I hate it when the line parts as it gets the mind going through the What If scenario 😀, from the picture you posted it looks not far from where I have bream marks so I think it's maybe time for a visit, my PB is just over 3lb from around Sandown Bay.

Lovely fish, you certainly know you have been a battle of wills when a nice bass hits your line, making me jealous sitting at home with F6 wind blowing.

Hi Neil not out today I might try and get out tomorrow but looking doubtfull, what about yourself.
-
Well this will be a very short catch report, tried to temp plaice to the boat at Southsea blocks on Friday, lovely sunny day nd only two other boats there although I did watch a few boats going out further afield,I'm afraid no plaice were caught only dogs, small hounds and loads of bream but I'm afraid they were very small and very hungry as soon as the worm baits went down we were constantly hit and ravaged our stock of worm, also had a couple of bass which were just under the sizable limit so everything returned to get bigger. I've had 5 plaice this year so I think it's time to go further out in the future.
This caused a traffic jam getting in and out of portsmouth harbour.

I have got marks for both places so it could be a toss of the coin on the day

but hopefully the weekend may yield fruit for you.
Yes Neil it's looking good over the weekend,so may try for plaice on Friday then further out either Saturday or Sunday

Thinking of venturing out on Friday, not sure whether to go for plaice again or search for some bream, any suggestions gents.

This is the most important one. As I went half on my boat we have a spreadsheet with everything on it to keep it fair. That spreadsheet will never be seen by my wife ...😂
If my wife ever becomes a computer geek and finds my spreadsheet I think I'm done for😂😂🪓

I have had both my jabs (Phizer) and felt fine both times,a friend of my had his first AZ jab a couple of weeks ago and felt rough for about 48 hours with flu like symptoms, but as he said better to put up with that, than a trip to the hospital with covid.

Top dangling Steve and a cracking plaice , well done indeed.
I see no sign of your new hoodie though? Did you not know it’s compulsory to wear whenever on your boat? 👍🏻Cheers, saving the hoodie for Sunday best😂
