DINOBOY got a reaction from GPSguru in mid channel brace
two 20+ pollack from a 70 stone haul working on a mates commercial rod n line caught boat out of brixham, this was taken late in the day when I could hardly hold them up my arms were so tired lol. I had this brace one after the other, four fish in one drift over a colossal container ship that went down around 20 years ago 'cant remember the name of her' but she was stuffed with fish that January day.

DINOBOY got a reaction from Maverick in Hurds Deep
theres sod all out there these days, we used to do the 4 day alderney trips from weymouth for the turbot, day one steam across channel and stop on wrecks in the 'hurds deeps' the odd decent pollack up to 15lb nothing special, then 2 days on the sandbanks for turbot and stop on the wrecks on the way home. very under average for wrecking.

DINOBOY got a reaction from Andy135 in huge hoard of wreck numbers
I will go through them and see what’s what, they were given to me by a guy who worked as the navigator on nimrod so I would say his equipment was pretty good.
they were for the north coast too but I will have to look to see how far up they go.

anyone on here in the south west with a boat capable of a good run offshore? as several years ago I was given a massive list of numbers in lat n long and Decca about half a dozen A4 sheets worth. quite a few are a fair way off but im happy to share them if they are any good to anyone down this way..

DINOBOY got a reaction from Dicky in Saltram 21
Alrite lads, I’m currently running a saltram 21 out of mevagissey Cornwall ‘pleasure only’ ive had assorts over the years but prefer the displacement with inboard Diesel engines, if you’ve been watching Rick stiens latest series you would have seen me steaming out of the harbour lol. The pic is the day I launched her after refurb when I bought her. Brand new beta marine engine/gearbox, prop, electrics the lot.
gotta love boats.

Will sort some out mate, with a boat like this I can go out in a force 4 no problem which is handy as I can only get out weekends mainly and it’s never flat is it lol.
