Suppose something could be added in the General section?

Cleaning? Looks clean to me, more authentic with fish guts on deck 🤣

Hopefully this project is still ongoing - any updates?
I saw another project on YouTube where the guy is sanding the paint off a Micro Plus 501 to get back to original gel coat.  Looks like a labour of love.  Micro Plus 501

Bit late to the party on this thread being a newbie, firstly great boat and canine crew ( I need both 😃).  Next what a shock to get a call like that, glad it was an error and that all is well.

She is a GRP version, 1 of 2 built on Canvey Island. Couple of photos attached.

And there was me thinking how popular I was when I saw on my notifications I’d been quoted four times.  Bit of a let down to know that was down to DT’s. 🤣 🤣 🤗

    Hello
my boat is a Starfisher 840. Powered by a Yanmar 6lpa dte shaft drive engine.
She’s the perfect choice of family cruiser and fishing boat.

Had her since May 2019, but always on the lookout for a decent upgrade deal. 😉

contrary to popular belief , the skipper always puts the crew on the fish. 🎣

Have bought the boat a present - not for myself you understand, justified on safety grounds (Fixed VHF).  Any more stuff is defo going to have to wait.  🤣

Mmmm, have read through seven pages of the thread and the ‘article’.  I’m telling myself I don’t need another fishing style.  This lockdown has already cost me a trolling set up for freshwater, drop shot kit and one or two other items I’ve never had in the past.  Really time to master the fishing kit I have got before embarking on yet more spending.   Good interesting thread mind 🤔

Good report, well done.  Also good to have another boat around when you have 12 metre tides - you never know if one of the boats needs a hand👍

got rid of Facebook its full of complete asshats! they all want everything for nothing then put it back up for sale for a shitload more, I got sick of dickheads asking 'whats your best price' when its clearly priced well to sell as theres no extra fees ect like on eBay.

I getting the cheap Co-op own brand stuff, non of your ‘here kitty kitty’ prices. Could probably use it as is for salt species as the lumps are reasonably small. Worth a try.

Might be worth trying that out in a groundbait bag for salt species 👍

I mashed up some cat food (Herring and Salmon flavour) that I use in my freshwater ground bait. Cheap, adds bulk and has strong smell.  Carp Roach Ide etc seem to like it.
