  1. Chinos yes but I draw the line at Moccasins it just has to be Sebagos or Dubarry's along with a silk hanky
  2. You lot are looking at the council beach huts this is a proper hut Mudeford beach hut
  3. In Poole we have the marine section police (part time) who have a rib you wont get away from unless you can go into the shallows and jet skis. Harbour control have several boats and jet skis who do police the harbour fairly regularly but especially the summer months. PHC also have the harbour almost completely covered with radar and cameras. We also have Dads army also known as MVS who plod around the harbour in a six knot skip
  4. OB1 is cheapest in Wickes @ £9 per tube, good stuff we use it all the time + if you have the wickes trade app you get a further 10% off
  5. What about me? I have 2 lumps to squeeze by, oh forgot, I don't squeeze by I pay A N other to do that 🙂
  6. The bricky can stay the chippy needs sacking
  7. Hmmm that brings back memories and reminds me of what's instal for me during January through to march. Isn't it funny how during the season you get so many offers of crewing but when the boats out it goes quiet
  8. Welcome @MikeyB I love your rig. Its not a bad place here in fact its nearly as good as our pbsbac site plus most of the guys are ok.
  9. Thanks Jon, always new I made an impression on you lol
  10. Maybe, with retirement looming I will probably go smaller
  11. Ha Ha Just spotted the meet post, not sure if I'll have Madness by then but will keep the meet in mind
  12. Can tell you're a tradesman (well sort of) they're also my favourites
  13. Trigger fish have been around our way for quite a few years now but are very localised. Sunfish are spotted every year, here'e one landed by a club member then promptly returned unharmed Re Orca's a pod was spotted off of Lulworth earlier this year. We also see/hear reports of basking sharks annually
  14. banks approx 3 miles south of where you were on Saturday
  15. We had a few small Tope on Saturday fishing the Sophies banks both east and west, biggest around 10lb. smallest about 10 ounces lol
  16. The gates have spikes on them, most uncomfortable, apparently they don't like it up um
  17. Ordinarily I would put you up however we have long term guests until their house has been refurbed, even my 22' by 22' garage is full of another house's belongings so unfortunately no room at the inn
  18. I'll likely be around so could meet up with you guys in the evening however would be using my own boat. Turbot & Brill is a little, well, over speculative but not impossible, everything else is a given (pretty much)
  19. Madness will be out on Sunday for the first trip of the year. I am a tad excited to say the least so everything crossed for reasonable weather
  20. I may bring my own boat Depending on dates as a busy year ahead
  21. That boat looks similar to (but is not) a Pilot 520. I had one of those with an evinrude 50 on the back, great boats
  22. Depends how you measure value however, we have an ex scaffolder working for us and like you he will eat (almost) anything and will drink anything & everything
  23. The pub was probably the King Charles (Charley) as there are no Princes in Poole, it's one of the oldest pubs in Poole. The Weathers spoons on the Quay is called The Quay, very inventive of them. Surprised you got in as most people get no further than the door as you stick to the carpet Glad the skipper took you around to Dancing Ledge (Jurassic coast) can be a good spot for Bream but is a little early for them although I have heard of at least one being caught.
