    Ranks were already available, we use them on pbsbac for instance new posters get to level "dogfish" so don't post to much over there or you will lose that tag

    Drilling Stainless One thing to remember is the drill bit must be cutting or you will heat the steel and it will work harden then you have a much harder job to drill it.

    Sunday saw Madness out with my Mate Phil and I onboard. Went to a mark off of Bournemouth where we had loads of Bream, dogfish, pout, small congers & mackerel. It was a very busy day with little breeze and plenty of sun. Also had a brittle starfish so that Mark could be interesting later in the autumn/winter. Totally cream crackered today but looking forward to our next trip out.

    Your revs are way under the recommended which is min 4700-5300rpm Johnson operators guide I would suggest as a start you ensure you are getting full movement in your throttle cables. I had that once on a Hardy 17 with a 25hp outboard

    I still miss that boat, made some great memories with her however, I don't miss the maintenance bills

    My old boat was in trouble in Portland harbour. Boat rescued and all crew ok, just shows how easy it is to find yourself in trouble Awol rescued

    Believe it or not they were not targeted and were caught on thin strips of squid on size 4 semi circular hooks intended for Bream. Only one fish broke me up which felt weighty but I left it to long and guess it wrapped itself up in the line as I lost the lot
