  1. Weymouth charters fish for bream on the drift quite often. As already said it's a good way to try and find where they are as long as the drift isn't to fast.
  2. Some nice plaice there. Hopefully we will trail down soon. Heard whispers of some nice cod on the inshore wrecks already.
  3. Deffo don't want your herpes lol. i only use parcel force as post office just down the road
  4. Can you push it outside then set fire to it?😂
  5. £13 insured tracked with parcel force £10 first class not insured £7 second class not insured
  6. I'll be in touch next week once i've sorted postage costs
  7. I am down in Southsea tomorrow if you're anywhere near there or on route back to Oxford
  8. Great nice one. i'll pack them and get a price for postage and get back to you.
  9. I have 4 stainless rod holders brand new unused. Fit rails up to 25mm. £17 each or all 4 for £60 plus postage

Is the Avet HXW a Raptor?
  11. What sort of £$ for a custom rod, looks really smart.
  12. Are you out from Brixham? Soon as we can travel we will be on tour lol. Not really local form Oxfordshire so out of limits at the mo, i'm stuck with coarse fishing which isn't the same really.
  13. i don't think handling makes much difference when using that day for livebait. The studies done on this were recording mortality over a longer period of time than they would usually spend in a tank for a days fishing. Still treat them carefully though to give them the best chance. On the subject of tanks maybe the ones in clear tanks are more lively as they're more stressed. The dark blue or black barrels may have a calming effect on them, just a thought. Deffo use a round tank though with no corners
  14. 40 meters or more and plenty of resident pout.
  15. As Abu have ruined the Suveran with their latest model if i was after a new rod the century would be a contender.
  16. Just checked on navionics app and the Dwyer is about 15 miles from Brixham and the Rotorua 20 miles out so within our range, insurance limit of 20 miles.
  17. Abu Suveran Evo 12lb, 20lb and 30lb Abu Suveran Pro 12-20lb Abu Suveran original and Pro 4-8oz uptiders White Water Blue Dog
  18. Dino's pics were from inshore marks, happy to steam 15-20 miles out for decent fishing.
  19. Some great fish there. We trail down to Brixham every year but usually spend the day on the Skerries. Hoping to get down there a bit more this year and try a few wrecks, would be over the moon with fish of that quality.

Valkyrie? that's a very tidy eel.
  24. JDP i agree with virtually everything you just said and the taking of a fish on rod and line that has very little pressure on the stock should be encouraged , rather than buying commercially caught fish using destructive fishing methods. BUT pictures of big majestic fish like that with some blood showing will always tug on the heart strings of people, anglers and non-anglers.
