    Well done for braving the cold Ian, those conditions in the photo don't look too bad, at least the sun came out and you managed to foul hook a pout! Not sure that counts though (but at least you photographed it, so we will let it in this time)! Good effort. 👍🏻

    If only local tackle shops round here stocked what is wanted. Mine sells loads of end tackle but the rods and reels are like the £13 beach caster, or £25 if you comb up!

    When I had Leos two side by side I remember thinking to myself that they looked pretty identical. But I figured the extra strength of the 20/30 over the 12/20 was in the mid section construction and not the tip! ? 🤷🏻‍♂️

    It's the red channel bouy north of gurnard point. Turn west into the Solent and it's on the chart about 3rd or 4th marker bouy from calshot. If you look it up on your plotter you will see better the lay of the sea bed. Go west for about another 15 minutes and you come to west lepe bouy.

    Well, when I say made it up, what I mean is I guessed. I did use a ruler but my eyesights not what it was and my glasses were indoors. It looked like just under 3mm!!

    @Andy135 Leos 20/30 gx2 measures just under 3mm.
