  1. Well done luke. Sounds like a match made in heaven. I hope she likes the boat! 🤞🏻
  2. These are rigs that I/we will need more education on. These are not words I've ever heard before!
  3. Oh ok, I didn't look that far. I noticed that they are not called Olympic fishing Co Ltd any more, just Olympic Co Ltd. Maybe the original company was rebranded after financial troubles? Who knows. So what's the idea with the folding ring?
  4. https://olympic-co-ltd.jp/fishing/material-technology-en/ looks like they make golf bats too/2/tu
  5. I'm guessing you've googled the company and seen that they still make fishing rods and stuff? I know nothing of their quality but it sure looks pretty nice! I like the retro look!
  6. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lmfao
  7. And you would use these whilst at anchor, uptiding, downtiding etc or always on the drift?
  8. Sounds like an ok sesh, sure beats sitting in front of the tv. Im with you totally on the age and shingle thing, but doesn't it always seem the same that the best marks on a shingle beach are the furthest from the car??
  9. I think Geoff is before the kind of technology. Slate is more his time.
  10. Nice one @Malc you've not taken long to suss out our forum foodie!
  11. I'm banking on an invite up to Essex for a ride on Janie!
  12. Welcome to the Outlaws Malc. We look forward to seeing what you can contribute. Fishing reports and photos always welcomed here!
  13. That's fair enough Geoff, the pension only goes so far. Mind, I don't recall getting one last year? Happy 2022 to all of you ! 👍🏻
  14. I'm happy!! What a way to start a new year!! 👍🏻
  15. Big cod in Norway are mainly caught between June and July. After that they bugger off. We only caught one cod and it was about 5lb. But then we went end of august.
  16. Cheating?? How do you come to that ? It was hard work finding that beast. The smaller 30-40lb samples were quite numerous, but the biggies were a lot tougher to find. One of the guys in our group landed a 280lb 3.2m monster!
  17. Yep that's the plan, just need some weather to allow it!! 🤞🏻
  18. It turned up today in brand new never been used condition. The original Daiwa cloth bag smells like an ashtray though, so I'd guess it's been stood in the corner of a room somewhere lost and neglected.
  19. Or go to Norway, I've got near your 100lb but just fell short at 88lb. Still lots of waiting around, but that's in the airport waiting for connecting flights.
  20. Well done Mike, you continue to shame us all! Some nice rays there and wow, that was a giant mackerel. Looks like nearly a 2lb'r?? Last pic was my fav! 🍻
  21. He's too busy wringing out his soggy ski suit!
  22. For @Andy135 and @JonC Hamble river over low water. Float fished rag worm.
