    I have two Honeywell CO alarms fitted. 5 year battery life and I test them every month.

    Not much, whiting and rockling was about it. But to be fair I was pretty miserable so wasn't really trying too hard, it was an ISACS match though so had to tough it out.

    I've fished Eastney beach in a 60mph southerly before. Not easy or comfortable but it was doable. My Ian golds igloo didn't like it though as it folded in on itself within 5 minutes of being set up. Leaving me to hide behind a rapidly piled up bank of shingle! Not sure I'd want to do it again, especially not at Hurst. But 13-15mph should be fine!!

    Not too/2/two/to much. Once the raw water cooling circuit was drained, it was 4 jubilee clips (2 on each pipe) and then just 2 bolts. Then wiggle it backwards. The hardest part was leaning around an engine at 90deg horizontal to see what bolts to undo. Will take about 45 mins to reassemble, but only because I bought new anodes and a new impeller as well.

    Yes defo mine and painted. Some paint just a touch still tacky.

    Just got the reconditioned pump back, a very quick turn around. Only trouble with it is it's now Volvo penta green not yanmar grey!!

    @Odyssey as a side thought, do you have or have you seen an anti frost stat anywhere? This could also throw a live to the boiler once temps outside drop below 5deg C.

    And do you have a 3 port control valve or two 2 port valves?

    @Odysseydo you have a combi boiler or a "traditional" system? Modern boiler have a pump over run stat on the pcb which could be playing up or, if you have an "S" plan system (2 control valves, one for heat one for HW) one of them may have the switch live switch stuck open. Pumps don't have permanent lives, they are all switch controlled.
