    Next on the list for the boat is a new dab fusion stereo. Needs to be nmea2000 so I can link to the mfd. I don’t need anything too flashy and it has to be able to replace the single din stereo I have in place and connect to the standard speakers. What’s the recommendation??

    The boat manufacturer has emailed me back saying that the tubes are capable of taking the cable run. Think I’ll put it on the roof though. I will only use it for mooring, so light splash back isn’t really an issue.

    Surely a concentrated high beam search light doesn’t do that? I’d really only use it for docking in the dark. Or spying on the neighbours.

    The old anchor light is 1.5” out of centre.

    Got this install completed today. No carpentry needed. And yes, I do still have to remove the front anchor light. Think I’ll put a remote search light there instead, the power cable has been left in place. Any recommendations on those will be great fully received. Also a new deck work light to put under the rear of the roof.
