  2. My 'phone rang the other night and a man's voice said, "I'm the dandy highwayman who you're too scared to mention, I spend my cash on looking flash and grabbing your attention!" I tried to tell him he had the wrong number, but he was adamant .....
  3. I think what has happened is that somebody put the pump on but never turned the sea cock on. Then it’s been sucked in to itself.
  4. Yes, so did I. Doesn’t mean I know the ins and outs of the characters though. #secretteletubbiessuperfan
  5. Double minus points for you because you know. Triple minus for admitting it publicly.
  6. ?? You're in no danger, you’ll never come to the south coast. Our fish just aren’t big enough to interest you!
  7. Get down to Bills tackle on bridge road , Woolston and pick one up. Southampton tide times book. As Pete says it also has Pompey , lymington etc. You will see the time variations .
  8. Yeah thanks Jon, I wasn’t planning on using garden hose, seeing as the one that’s on there already is armoured.
  9. 🤣only if they’re not swung about.
  10. Hi whats the best hose to replace my collapsed one? I can’t quite make out the markings on it. I know it’s 19x26 reinforced. Is there a best make to look out for?
  11. Also something worth considering is this. When you see for EG... high tide 14.25 that will mean that othat is when the ebb will start, not when the tide finishes rising. If you are going to go fish a mark that fishes best on the ebb, then you need to be there about 1.5hrs before. There will still be a certain amount of “slack” water and it gives you time to position yourself correctly and not miss the golden part of the ebb. That is normally about the first hour in the solent before the tide becomes so strong you need bigger leads to hold bottom.
  12. Have you not purchased the tide book I pointed you toward Andy?
  13. Andy, there is a minimal ebb in between the high tides, but it is hardly noticeable. When the ebb starts proper it does run out quickly.
  14. You truly are the master of shit jokes. 0/10
  15. Wankers, fancy taking the OO logo out!! @Tony smith you should complain. well done for making the cover though.
  16. That photo steve was before I took the cover plate off. It’s old sealer. I had a new gasket kit for it. All was cleaned off and surfaces made smooth. 👍🏻
  17. Well done for making the effort to get out whilst the rest of us mere mortals coward at home. And fish too, a good result.
  18. I’m hedging my bets on mid June!
