  1. FFS...... that comment need deleting before anybody reads it. #credibilityrapidlydrainingaway
  2. I don’t get the snobbery (not you personally). Why do they not fall into the category of a sport fish. They fight harder and longer than most species we catch here in the UK (shark aside, before the welsh start up). Even the sun 10lb straps in the middle solent fight better than a 10lb cod !
  3. I’m not talking about the precautions you have to take with them. I’m talking about the sport of the fight they give. What’s not like?
  4. Yes but great fun. Well, on a proper boat. I can see why on an inflatable dingy they’d be trouble.
  5. How can you dislike conger Ian? The only fish in the sea that can swim backwards and put up a proper fight. Especially the biggies.
  6. Nah. ive just had a look actually and the Samsung, LG and new sony TVs now support airplay2. So casting from an iPhone into a Samsung is possible.
  7. Yes, trouble with Samsung is the operating system is not compatible with an iPhone. Unless things have changed? My current tv is Samsung and it doesn’t work.
  8. So we have had planning permission granted to do another loft conversion on our house. We are going to turn it into a reading/TV/Games room. So basically a room that the whole family can use for entertainment's. Im going to get the internet up there for streaming etc etc. So, a new TV is in order. It will be 43-50” screen and will need to be as smart as possible in order for me to add external apps. Im not overly techie in this department and would be open to advise on what to look for on the new TV’s. What do you guys have or recommend and why?
  9. 🤣 I love the look of strain on your face as you hoist that monster up!
  10. Personally I would go for the 5hp. I use a 3.5 Mercury on my tender which is light and with me and my son it works pretty well. But I still find I want the 5hp. Ok, so you are using yours as a back up to get you to land ASAP incase the main engine fails, and not as a full time engine. At slack water or with the tide the 3.5 will do. But against the tide you would probably struggle or it would be a real slow journey. At £160 though I’d be tempted to buy the 3.5 and try it out. If it’s no good sell it on and buy a 5hp. you won’t loose any money.
  11. @Tony smith I’ve had a rummage around my kitchen draw and found an Outlaws branded Woolley hat, @Andy135has found a spare outlaws sticker under his desk paperweight. @JonCcouldn't be bothered so @GPSguru from Lyme bay tackle has kindly donated a Red Gill Bass selection pack and Red Gill Cod/Pollock selection pack. It should all be with you by Christmas! Enjoy 👍🏻
  12. Guess the missing word....
  13. Yep, and some of them are quite useful too!
  14. At least you get his name correct .!
  15. Don’t worry it’ll be great. I’m having a turn out of the bottom kitchen drawer when I get home.
  16. That’s it folks we have reached the magical number of 1000 threads since we went public with the Offshore Outlaws. Thanks very much indeed to all of you!! And they said we would never last. @Tony smithis the winner of our spot prize. Congratulations !
