  1. If I was to show my true intelligence you would have a melt down. Out fished AND out brained. 🧠
  2. And there was me thinking you were going to report that you’d finished before Geoff!
  3. He knows his real place Geoff. And he’s happy there, waiting to un seat me!
  4. @Gordmac check when the timing belt was last changed. Should be every 5 years or 500 hours. It’s real simple to change (even I managed it) and you can get a Bosch full kit for around £100. On these you don’t need the Yanmar stuff because they are (well mine is) Toyota Land Cruiser engines. If you can establish from a Yanmar mechanic exactly which Toyota engine it is then your on to a winner with spare parts costs. Access aside, they are relatively easy to work on. So far last season I...... striped and descaled the complete cooling system. removed turbo, then re fitted once reconditioned. changed anodes, changed oil, filters etc changed coolant fitted an oil catch can.
  5. On the shaft drive version there are only 4 anodes.
  6. To my expense I found out that filling holes with epoxy is not the done thing. Somebody who owned my boat before me had done that around my bow thruster and the epoxy delaminated and wicked in water. So, not recommended.
  7. The rod is an ugly stick gx2 12-20. I'm just about to put my old 20-30 in the post so he can have a matching pair!!
  8. So, Leo finally got his custom rod delivered today. To say he is over the moon is an understatement !! Chris Dance has done a super job.
  9. It could be problematic. They should be changed every year without fail.
  10. @Maverick well done Martin for making the effort and not blanking! In the reflection of the super yacht you look like your sinking, and I can’t believe your under steam with your fenders still out...... amateur! 😇
  11. Was it actual dinner or pre dinner dinner?
  12. It won’t be anymore busy than normal. Don’t forget most people with boat can travel and use them. It’s only the country gentry that struggle.
  13. Seen that somewhere already this morning 🤔 6.5/10
  14. @Gordmac if the Featon is no good, another one to consider (mostly on the continent though) is the Astinor 840.
  15. Andy... I have a halogen version of these that give a nice soft warm white light. This is an led version. I’m sure you can get a soft warm light led to fit should you prefer. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170MM-LED-Dome-light-Cabin-Light-Celing-Light-12V-Interior-Stainless-Steel-Boat-/150525053292
