  1. Yeah but I don't have any deep wrecks local to me, hence I don't do wreck fishing!
  2. I took Leo and his older cousin Harry out yesterday in search of some early season codling. Unfortunately we were unlucky on that front, but we did catch many fish. A half decent hound, some dogs, a couple of straps a pout and tonnes of bream. Biggest being a touch under 2lb. Our baits were being destroyed within seconds of touching down. The culprits were a swarm of tiny bream. Good for future stocks I suppose. The early start wasn't what Harry was used to...
  3. Strange how different guys like differing rods. I've got two uglysticks and find them really very good quality and strength for the money. And you did say you wanted budget.
  4. Somebody's in their element today ⬆️⬆️⬆️
  5. @suzook12 ugly stick elite 30/50 £86.99 in Veals, they are having a 10% off promo atm too!!
  6. To be fair, your Shimanos would have been just right for what Steve needed. Not great for plaice fishing though 🤣
  7. Good going Steve 💪🏻. I'm trying to work out who enjoyed that cuddle more??
  8. We are all very sorry for your loss, and I am 100% certain that @GPSguru would never mean to cause you and your family pain. He would most probably have taken his info from an official statement (whether that was incorrect, he would not have known). Please accept our apologies for any offence caused! 🙏🏻
  9. That's barbaric. Hope you killed them all first
  10. They look like proper fuckers to fillet!
  11. Looks amazing... is that the porno version??
  12. I believe it is yes. There are a couple of vercellis for sale
  13. I bet @JDP would be able to inform you of something!
  14. Then I hope you are going to put the money toward a new one and not waste any more time on this one!!
  15. No Pete, not this time. This trip we cannot blame on him.
  16. Apparently august in that area is always hit and miss. No actual reasons offered up as to why though! TBF it was not the skipper who said that, but one of the more experienced anglers from that patch.
  17. I jumped on the PBSBAC charter trip from Poole quay yesterday, mistress Linda was the vessel. We had a great day out on the water with great company. Unfortunately the fishing didn't set the day alight, but by the whispers on the vhf, we had the best day out of the charters that were out. The boat ended with 20 Mack, a small eyed ray, couple of dogs, a strap conger and a tope. I caught Mack, LSD and the tope.
  18. Good going, now hopefully the weather will allow you to enjoy it!!
  19. I'm out tomorrow on a charter from Poole quay!! And hopefully Friday with my nephew on the hunt for early codling!
