    I think in the smaller fishing boat range they may be. But if your spending £40k I don’t think any right minded person will buy without a try. it’s just people are buying boats instead of holiday homes, or so it seems.

    It’s not really an issue for me tbh. It does forward scan, then I have a GT40 for the traditional. I can side scan too.

    I have the same shaped transducer as you Ian. Mine doesn’t move, mainly because it’s under the swim platform and can’t be reached. It seems to operate ok.

    Yes, hectic I’d say. I do love a decent bit of beat mixing. But that was just a bit too much. Shame really, as I got excited with a salt and pepper intro!
