  1. Did you find her ok? Just realised I forgot to give you the address.
  2. I can imagine he makes saying “no thanks” tricky 🤣
  3. Well if your going to start, just let me know when your done. Then on your way home stop off on the M27bto help @suzook12
  4. Very nice fish indeed 👍🏻
  5. I though one of these? https://www.screwfix.com/p/drill-carbon-steel-wire-brush-set-3-pcs/13734?tc=IB1&ds_kid=92700055262507123&ds_rl=1244066&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIq7fuoMmF7gIVC-vtCh3UjgoCEAQYBCABEgLhzvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  6. What’s one of those and where do I get one? Do they come in different sizes? Can I use a wedge and a hammer?
  7. @stewart welcome. Who the hell is big Rob ?
  8. I had the boat lifted today and went down to take a look at the hull before it was jet washed off. Not too bad at all I think, especially as I never had a mid season lift and wash. just a layer of slime below the water line where the sun doesn’t reach, no barnacles on treated area. The only barnacles were on the metal and plastics that were not anti fouled. The only weed growth was just on the water line and on the transducers. Really not too bad at all I reckon. Question, I’ve never removed a prop before, is it just the nut that needs loosening off then slide the whole thing off ?? Is it a reversed thread?
  9. Possibly but to be honest I was swearing at myself too loud to hear any chitter chatter.
  10. No, I have a very immature pallet. I only drink lager or JD
  11. No but an ex marine and an ex para (Ian) I didnt fancy my chances much.
  12. 🤣🤣 I have no clue where this is, it’s the first time I’d met Charlie and no way was going to be taking selfie’s with his plotter screen!
  13. Pfffft, it’s easy to go off some people!
  14. Hold yer horses, at least wait until I’m wedged solid.
  15. More time spent squashed in the engine bay, and I’m not any slimmer than the last time.
  16. Can’t run a new cable as the cable is sealed on to the arial. I need to pull the complete run out and then re feed it back once the bracket is repositioned.
  17. It’s sealed, which was a real pain when the Ariel had to be screwed into the bracket.
  18. Length isn’t a problem, there is loads of spare inside the boat. But because the cable goes through a top side grommet i need to pull it all back through, then move the grommet and vhf bracket, then feed all the way back through.
