  1. I did wonder that, but when crystals were mentioned, I suppose salt deposit does the same. Then I don’t have an external leak, or any leak I reckon.
  2. Comforting to know then that I have crusty’s on my back! Thanks Gents👍🏻
  3. Ok, thanks Scott. I will find 30 minutes more and do the whole job instead.
  4. makes me wonder exactly what I’ve done to be awarded this great honour?
  5. So, I still have not got round to doing this oil change yet. But as it happens tomorrow I’m taking the boat round for it’s final voyage before it gets lifted for 6 weeks on the hard. After the short journey of 25 minutes the engine oil will be sufficiently warm to allow the extraction of it. But, how long is it ok to leave the engine without oil in it (and no Jon it won’t be used)? Is it ok to leave it empty of oil for 2-3 weeks or should I plan to put new oil and filter in straight away?
  6. So I checked the level of the coolant in the bottle before we set off today and it was on max, just where I left it after the last trip. I checked it again after our trip and it was still on max. So, looks like any air has been expelled. But, I did find a small leak, nothing major and seeing as the boats getting lifted Tuesday I’m not worried for now.
  7. I tried to find Ian’s boat on MarineTraffic but rampant rubber didn’t turn up any results!
  8. I’m not sure if that’s a comfort or a worry!! 😬

  14. 10.13 still nothing on board. Tide is just starting to ease so hopefully something will turn up soon. We only have large baits out though.

  16. 05.45 the crew got himself up with no wake up call needed. Big thumbs up for the day ahead
  17. @Maverick I’ve given you and your grandson a Like emoji. Not because it like to hear about people’s pain and suffering, but because we have no sympathy emoji. Well done to you and him for fronting up the problem and getting through it like men. I bet you were more worried than him.
  18. I see your jumping to the head of the pack to take the lead.
