The expansion bottle on the cooling system of an engine is there to catch coolant if over filled and it expands ? Yes or No? If yes, why does it have a min and max line etched on it? If no, is it a top up reservoir ? And if it is a top up reservoir and the level drops, where is the coolant going, if not found in the bilge?

I have a similar type of boat as in its a single shaft. I don’t have an aux, only for the tender. I’m a sea start member so hope any issues will be sorted by them at sea, or a tow back to port.

I have two of these vercellis, the blue and the white one. The white one is the top of the range whilst the blue is 3 versions down. But tbh they both seem exactly the same except for the colour. Great rods though.

If your not leaving your boat in the water for any long length of time Pete then all you should need is a hose down when back on the trailer.

I hope Ian that your schedule doesn’t get postponed for COVID back log reasons like every other operation seems to be. Maybe some boat fund would be a good investment for the long term?

£4500 to do my boat. Just can’t justify that outlay when I still would need a lift and jet wash mid season. Over 10 years it may equal out but a smaller outlay every year is easier to swallow.

Last year I had the hull scraped back to gel coat, then re primed and two coats of AF. Cost me £700. Then one coat on top a year.

Well slime is all I get for £85 and a mid season hose down. I do mix zinc and copper oxide to my AF.

So, it’s nearly that time again. Last season I put on Hempel hard racing and I seems to work pretty good. You do get the slime layer but no real barnacles of coral worm growth. Just wondered if there is an even better product to prevent even the slime? What do you guys use and why?

Tesco CAR PARK SCAM - BEWARE! Thursday November 26th 2020. Please BE WARNED. Over the last month I have become a victim of a clever 'Eastern European' scam whilst out shopping. Simply dropping into Tesco’s supermarket for a bit of shopping turned out to be quite an experience. Here's how the scam works: Two very good-looking 21 year-old girls with big boobs and long legs come over to my car as I was packing my shopping into the boot. They both start cleaning my windscreen, their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T- shirts. I said thank you and offered them a tip, they both said 'No' but would you give us a lift to Asda. I agreed and they both got into the back seat. On the way to Asda they start undressing, until both were completely naked. I pulled in to remonstrate, one of them climbed over into the front seat and started crawling all over my lap, kissing me, touching me intimately and thrusting herself against me, while the other one steals my wallet! I had my wallet stolen on November 4th, twice on the 6th, 8th, 12th and 13th and twice yesterday. So please warn all the guys you know to be on the lookout for this scam. The best times seem to be there just before lunch and about 4:30 in the afternoon. P.S. Aldi have cheap wallets on sale for £1.99 each but Lidl wallets are £1.75 and look better.
