  1. Buy a stool or mount it on a broom handle and stick it in your rod holder
  2. @Jon cook, if youve got a bit more to spend and @Andy135 is game then surely there could be a deal to do?
  3. Neither of those bikes I put up were lottery bikes. The lavarda when brand new was £9k and the MV around £13k
  4. If it were me, I’d go straight for the biggest boat. Purely because of your worried about a starter boat being small, you won’t take long to talk yourself into needing a bigger boat. Then you’ll spend months wishing you’d bought bigger.
  5. How about this, gets you in the water and keeps a bit back for safety gear and also some towards the next boat. On eBay 154018100180

  7. Steve, any chance you can copy the post onto here? We don’t all use FB and it’d be nice to see your post.
  8. If I get caught in fog thick enough to not be able to see 100yards in front then I’d just drop anchor and wait it out. rather be late than crash.
  9. I opted for ais instead of radar. Purely because I don’t go “offshore” enough to warrant it. Ais was a good compromise in my opinion. Transmit and receive of course.
  10. Hi Peachey welcome to the outlaws. You’ve come to the right place for sure. A couple of question, as Andy said, what is your budget, do you require any shelter, and how often do you fish 3 blokes? If you have a boat already then I’m guessing your aware of pit falls and what to look for when buying? If not, there is a boat buying article in the articles section that may give you some useful pointers.
  11. Pros, you have new shiny kit, you can travel safer when needed, you get to play with a new toy. cons, you have to write the cheque
  12. I didn’t crash it, I was the victim of a stupid woman who didn’t stop at a junction. She crashed it for me.
  13. Don’t be sad Jon. @Andy135 will take you to catch one soon.
