  1. I’m guessing your the one who’s only just got up? You know I don’t sleep.
  2. Oh so it’s got nothing to do with the crap weather then Pete? It’s not like we all have had a chance to get out and create some stories is it!

Ok, according to my supplier the Garmin Striker plus5cv is a model that is being discontinued to be replaced by something else and is no longer available direct from Garmin . However the is still available and with the set up shown in the photo I can get it for £362. only down side is it can’t be ordered until the new year as the guy has used up his allowance for 2020.
  4. Now moved to the conservation area.
  5. I was thinking more about this than of a personal diary. https://www.seaangling.org/
  6. Does anybody do this? I signed up for it ,but the pages are a bit blank lately. My efforts don’t seem to be contributing much to the study. 🥺

  8. I don’t know what you could be referring to!
  9. Hey @JDP..... you ever had a go at this? looks right up your street.
  10. Yeah and fairies at the end of the garden 🙄
  11. Don’t forget to post in the show us your boat thread.
  12. Carcharodon carcharias in my opinion with little experience . I’d guess that the waters too cold for them to live here, but I’m sure they probably pass by. Especially as there have been reports of them on the south coast. Im sure your just about to school me though.
  13. Steve might struggle with his spinning gear .
  14. No, and you won’t live with it next time your transom falls apart and Jaws eats you because you took Bruce at his word .
  15. No but then I was fishing with mono and a FS reel 🖕🏻
  16. A day trip to the island is a bit like stepping back in time 20 years. The pace of life is so much slower. It’s a perfect place for a mini break.
  17. The Isle of Wight is a lovely place to be. I couldn’t live there (because of work) but visit regularly throughout the year. Shackling beach and the Fisherman’s cottage being the best pub ever IMO . Also chucking a lure from the rocks when the tides out is fun at night.
  18. Sounds like you could have done with an article on boat buying advice when you were younger and a newbie to this game. Glad to hear you got the boat back ok, it’s no picnic round by the needles when the weathers not kind.
