  1. Hi @Michael. firstly welcome to the Outlaws. There is no such thing as a trivial or stupid question. I have a 2.8m tender powered by a 5hp tohatsu which is used as a tender to the mothership. Also as a fun river toy for my lad. The boat does not need to be legally registered, it's only registered with the manufacturer for its warranty. If you're buying an older boat without warranty then no registration is legally required. There is the "small ships register" which every small boat owner is asked to register their boats on. But, again this is a best practise exercise and not a legal requirement. However the future may see this change! Hope that helps.

  9. Well done Mike, fancy knocking down his front door! Now go back next week and catch him again, then I'll be impressed!
  10. As Jon said, congratulations on your boat purchase and joining the Outlaws. If you do suspect that there is transom work to be done, you are in the right place. There are a couple of very knowledgable guys to bleed info from!
  11. Anti fouls these days are so diluted of aggressive chemicals due to environmental policies. I've been painting mine with normal antifoul for years with no issues. The eco stuff just does not work. You'll use it for a season, then be cheesed off because of the expense and the fact that you may as well not bother. Then you'll use normal AF and wish you'd done it sooner!!
  12. A contentious one for some this subject. I've always antifoul Ed my transducers, I started with the same Eco stuff that @MegaBytelisted, but found it totally useless. Now I use the same AF as I put on the hull. Ive never had an issue with it effecting the plastics. I do use primer first. I suppose you need to look at the ingredients of your choice of paint.
  13. Ok, sorry steve I didn't make myself clear. These are not freebies, if you still want one paypal some more funds and I'll put one in with your extra small.
  14. Due to a cock up in the sizing process, I now have two XL hoodies going spare if anybody wants one?
  15. Not really. Maybe you could ask the nerd to moov it.
  16. Are you enjoying that the same amount as not having a boat and not fishing??
