  1. Yeah i saw that just now. Also, they only make props for outboards. So, it's down to you and @Odysseyto field trial on behalf of the others with petrol outboards!!
  2. Well only if somebody had thought about it. I'm sure different blade shapes have been tried, but this effectively gives you 6 blades from 3. And less drag.
  3. Yes, just depends how long it would take to claw back the initial outlay though. Sure as eggs is eggs the new design won't be cheap.
  4. An interesting video this. I wonder if it would perform as well on my semi D hull? https://boattest.com/article/boattest-review-sharrow-propeller?utm_medium=email&_hsmi=228646611&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-_o7_6s94xTdGfQ7yChmhU2i-IDMi-DWXn46a9iCgJqL2ZdbKraqAudr4mcMpWbLw9I4F-gAosdSRj-05Y1zn-E_Oe2KQ&utm_content=228646611&utm_source=hs_email
  5. Thinking of selling then Martin? Giving up all together or going bigger/smaller?
  6. How rude!! Now go and put your name down for the boat meet next year!!
  7. I do have tu birthday weekends in July however to work round as well.
  8. Well nothing is booked seeing as I only suggested it about an hour ago. Get me your away dates that are concrete and we can work around stuff.
  9. You may find that the difference between road haulage and a self drive trip with fuel bills and a skipper may not be all that big a difference. A seasoned skipper would be in command for the critical moments and areas, so you not being familiar with the boat would not be a big deal really. When you were in "safer" waters so to speak, you could take the helm and learn your boat with the back up of a confident instructor! Id hazard a guess that traveling by road will be in the region of £3-3.5k.
  10. http://waywoodlasscharters.com/ Will take 12. Could be a laugh if nothing else! 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. I propose another Solent meet. Weekends of June 24/25th with a back up date of July 29/30th. Those that can, bring your boats, those that can't bring a boat but still want to attend put your names down and we will see what we can accommodate. There is a large steel ex commercial fishing vessel that charters out of Southampton, it's a very large ship but it runs fishing charters, it's very slow (bit like Pugwash), so we could make this a whole day evening thing rolled into one?? Get names of interested parties down and we can see where it takes us. Let us know if you would bring your own boat or not!!
  12. Ok, I appreciate its a tad early but best to get the ball rolling. Seeing as @Andy135 and @JonC made a hash of this years half hearted effort, I thought I'd take over again seeing as 2021 was such a success.
  13. @Eduardofirstly welcome to the Outlaws. Id be inclined to use a combination of self passage and hiring a skipper to join you and assist with the voyage and planning. If money is no issue (for fuel costs etc), then I'd want to do the journey for the adventure. There's no better way to find out about your boat. Whatever you decide, just plan plan and plan some more. London Bridge to Folkestone , then Folkstone to Brighton for the second day. I have no knowledge of the route or overnight berths, so some googling and phone calls would be needed.
  14. Glad all checked out ok with the post service run. Why on earth would grease monkeys be playing with your panoptix??
  15. There was me thinking I'd done great with 78 points. Then I see that everybody has Haaland in their team!! 🙄😞
  16. I believe squid are attracted to light, so around piers is normally a good shout I believe. Never tried for them myself however.
  17. Neil.... Andy's the ginger one!!
  18. @Josh nice fish you had there, good to see a couple of good fish jumping too. Now all we need to do is get you to put as much effort into posting your pics as you do your fishing! Then you'd be the perfect member!!🤣
