    Ive ordered a gomexus 50, some silk ocean pe1.5 line. I'm going to use it on my Zziplex 6-12lb rod. If I get on then I may well purchase a specific SPJ rod later.

    @jonnyswamp if I use my Nomura Kanji spinning rod coupled with a Maxel rage 25, do you think that'll do? I don't go wrecking often so don't want to be spending a fortune. Do they do them Left hand wind?

    Leo and I went to the PBSBAC presentation night last night. Leo cleaned up in the Junior section , 2019 winner for his specimen Scad (1lb 5oz?), and 2020 winner for his 15lb undulate ray. 2021 no comps held due to covid. I picked up nothing!

    For wrecking you will need 10-12" booms. 8/10 oz ball weights and some sidewinder lures or similar.

    Cheers. She's the boat I've owned the longest. 3 seasons now. Got all the anti foul finished today. All anodes fitted. The Grp grazing repair is under way also and should be finished mid next week. Then following Monday, back in the drink and off for some plaice!!
