    I believe they are in the wrasse family. Delicious eating. They basically live on shell fish so the meat is wonderful.

    One of the strongest fish I can think of. They are absolute brutes. They will pull you into rocks or a wreck in an instant and cut you off. They can be frustrating but it’s very addictive fishing.

    Best bait are crabs. Tog can crush through shells with no problem. You can cut the crabs into a couple of pieces, they love it. Absolutely delicious eating

    Went out New Year’s Eve and managed a few decent tog. Fishing was kind of slow but the sea was calm which is a pleasure this time of year.
