Had a go today, weather was good, nice and flat on the flood. Wind picked up a little bit after tide turned,
 Had a busy day but nothing of any size. Lost count of dogfish, 6 small hounds, 2 bass, and a few whiting.
just good to get out. Highlight of the day was coming back in and some knob had taken his truck down to low water mark to retrieve his jet ski and it had sunk in the mud. 

The weather today was perfect by the look of things. You caught fish and had a comedy moment. Sounds like a good day out to me! 👍🏻

I've got a transit custom, I've not noticed the hand brake being poor to be honest,

we noticed we had barn owls in our workshop so during lock down I made an owl box with the kids and we had our first owls last year. The local owl guy came down and ringed and recorded them. (Not me in the photo)  hoping they return this year. 
 

The important thing is to get the height of the hole correct so they can’t get out until they are old enough.

I'm away in Guernsey till Tuesday, but I'll post some pics when I'm back. Mine is about 12ft up inside a barn.

Pretty much, new axles, wheels and brakes and a bit of welding

Im a carpenter so wasn't difficult to build, there's plenty of info online. I had the materials and time as we were off for lockdown and was looking for something to get the kids off the Xbox. It took a year and half for our first owls though.  I'm thinking of putting a camera in the box this year.  Was great watching them get bigger. Shit me up on a few morning as I would walk in and one would be sitting on a bench dead still and I wouldn't see it till I was right up to it.

Just joined up and thought I would post up some pics of my boat. She's a 2008 Beneteau 650 which I bought in 2015. Due back in the water next weekend.
Had a lot of fun with the family fishing and just messing about on the water. 

only thing that ever went wrong was a fuel pump when I was running her up on the mooring, apart from that in the nearly 8 years I’ve had her shes Not missed a beat. I put a Suzuki auxiliary on as well and that’s been just as good. I really rate Suzukis 
 

Hi Andy, she has a 115 Suzuki, I just keep her on the trailer for winter.

We hope you enjoy the site and join in with the laughs and occasional fishing report. There is not much going on atm but with summer on the way the forum should get a lot busier. 
We have an admin from Essex but he (luckily for you) is on the Bradwell side.
