One for the big forheaded people on here
I will be fitting one of these
DC 12V 500A 4 Pin SPST Starter Relay Contactor Double Batteries Isolator Control | eBay
To link up 2 batteries just for starting purposes (especially in this cold weather)
Can the relay switch be closed using the crank position on the ignition, would make more sense than fitting an odd switch on the dash panel and would always start on 2 batteries
Sounds good in theory to me ?
try suzuke on that he seams to be up together on that sub-get
-
i have a second battery with an isolation switch, if the starting battery is low i can always yous the 2 battery's together, then once the engine has started i can isolate the spear battery.
-
you will have to ask an expert on these maters, i have not a clew .

Yep, not too happy at the moment as I have gone down with yet another UTI, however, this is a known issue with folk that are immunosuppressed, but a UTI is of major concern regarding sepsis, so it needs to be fixed el-pronto. This time, I have only had one night of a 41.3C fever temp.
Stupid feckers at the surgery lost/mishandled my first two samples 🙄, so I went in there with the 3rd and jumped up and down a bit (a lot). Luckily they have a 'placement' paramedic, who understood the situation and was on the ball, so sorted me out. 👍
TBF, I am on an antibiotic for kidney infections, but it seems to work well (better than all the others) on my UTI.
I hate winter because this sort of crap hits me hard, and I get almost as bad tempered as @JonC 🤣
almost ? 😱

As I’ve said above this was @mike farrants ‘ way of asking for help fishing in the dark. He’s right , the dark is scary especially when you look over yor shoulder and see hundreds of pairs of eyes staring at you from the bushes.
We have a duty of care to help him out.
what are you doing in the bushes anyway ?

why not just answer the question, if you don't lick fixed reals .just give your reasons for that. don't fright-on other people of giving theirs.
i might add that you do have a lot of very good idears

I was given a pair of those gel filled ones with the metal disc inside - you flex the disc and it causes a chain reaction that makes the gel give off heat. They were quite good as I remember. You then boil them in a pan of water to re-set the gel and then they can be re-used.
Except I put mine on the boil and walked off to do something else. Totally forgot about them, the pan boiled dry and the sachets burst 🤦♂️. Still can't find them online to re-purchase them.
trust you
