    its all down to the engine number , i think they wer yousing old stock as this starter was yoused on prevouse model. as they newer ones had a diferent starter on them and the mount is slightly diferent. i went to mariner agent in plymouth, and he gave me the starter number

    puting back together (contoller) was a jigsaw pusel i did not have a drawing for it. try and try till it fits and woorks making it up from bits is not a good idear. but it was very exspencive it was free🤣 this boat engin is going to be a right b------ . becouse its made up with mariner susuki and yamah bits but it woorks
