  1. notice the 2 coats of glass fiber on each sied more on the joients and legs then filler and rubing down to a smouth flat serface
  2. ihave an 6e9 40 hp , mariner made by yamaha parts are availerboul but you have to hunt them down, thats when the fun begines. you sause part numbers , no that number dose not apear on the list they say . here we go againe grrrrrrrr have you had this what do you do

  4. before cutting out i had wedged the sides of the boat to the uprights of the trailer so the hull did not go out of shape, whilst working on the transom i put a strap aarond the hull till i had compled the stern
  5. the courners on the tansom wer cut down as well as the the new size well
  6. this is what remaied fron removing the weet woodstill had to rub it down and clean the airea.also had to smouth nthe iner transom face
  7. ther was plenty of old wet foam and body shell to get rid off
  8. i made a blank from cardbord made it fit, then layed it on the ply drew around it and cut it out. when fixing it in i had to trim it down to fit but i ened up wit a snug fit
  9. here you can see the new transome and the back of the outboard well
  10. new deck 20 mill ply coated on bouth sides with glass and resen , new serpots , the trasom was made of 2 20 mill ply with glass and resen and finised off with a coat of resen to seal any gaps were filled with fiber fill or filler coverd with 2 to 3 fiber resen the courner transom to hull had 4 layers
  11. having cut the deck out the roten tansome out (whilt makeing hundreds of wood lice homles )
  12. here we are at the start, notice the gunel cot down by the previouse owner allso i have removed the decking on one side of the outboard well
  13. i am going to bring my post from the old site but tiddy it up i started this project some time ago nowing very little of what i was letting myself into. members of Offshore Outlaws were of grate help , so a big thank you to them, they have provided me with teckernell help and moe importently made me smile when things whet rong, banter can realy put a smile on your face when your down (no mater how bad it is ) so a big thankyou to you all
