Ok, after 7 weeks of antibiotics I have shaken off the UTI, but ….. on the last day of antibiotics, I have tested positive for COVID. Into day 3 now but not too bad so far.

I just can't get on with a pump. Its bloody frustrating 🙂
Back in the day I used to dig for shops in the south east. Haven't lost the fitness, so happy to stay old school. Just need to find a spade.
Maybe i just need to think about making my own. Basically cut it down so its about six inches wide and eight inches long, and make sure the shaft is straight. (All sounds a bit double entendre 🙂

TBH a pump is a zillion times easier.
Make you own from 22mm copper pipe a few fittings and mould a washer seal from silicon. You can make it quite long so it is comfortable to use.
However, the best spade I have used is a narrow blade Stainless, but digging is way too much work.

Well then he doesn't need to pay tax. He can't be running at a minus or he'd be outta business.

Then he has less tax to pay because his profits are lower!

Pool trip out.
i was taken to Pool and we booked in the hotel, then we all walked around the key. then we found the pub we met up last year.
while we were there Jon and friend arrived. we tried the brew , the conversation evolved around yellow balls (scooch eggs ).
then went looking for a place to eat. We found a nice restaurant and sat down.then Suzuki and Mikey, and the banter continued .
Neils ribs were cold , and the head waiter was apologizing, again and again. my stake was fine.
we then all went back to the hotel for a fine all round. being a bit tipsy i slept well.
Breakfast .
The plates were a bit small but some of us went for round 2.
We parked up and waited to get on the boat.
When leaving the harbor Neal made a announcement about my birthday and presented me a new place rod and real; i was a bit lost for wards and replied thank you.
nobody blanked ,with the weather being overcast and a bit windy and cold , but cheered up with some sunny intervals.
all in all i had a fantastic knight and day .which will stay with me for ever.
Thank you for making my 70th birthday very special
