Subs are more interesting to look at. The fish study them to see how humans breath underwater. it’s where the phrase “school of fish” came from.
As with most school kids abs students they can be easily tempted by sweets abs goodies as we all know this is more interesting than learning.... hence why artificials work so well....
 
 
 

Not me, but I fished next to a guy in a SW Scotland  shore comp many years ago and he was using kippers for bait. He was cutting the kippers into 2inch chunks of with scissors and caught doggie after doggie after doggie. 
There's a moral to this, don't use kippers as bait!

The ones we used were part of a survivor at sea module on a recent training course. The rafts had what looks like a thermal silver heat bubble wrap in the floor which Ive found useful for a few things. Firstly I keep a section on my boat to use as a thermal blanket if I find anyone suffering from the cold. Ive also used it for extra insulation on 12 volt camping fridges and cooler boxes and bags. Even the survival kits are handy to keep on your boat.
With lockdown you could inflate it, fill it with water and carp so you can fish from home, even indoors!!!!

Not quite, it’s like having a mooring where you are tied up bow and stern. Works best if wind is blowing side against tide. 

I had to sit my GF down and explain that I have a dependent to bring to relationship. She thought I had some kid hidden away somewhere. She was relieved when I said no, kids. Less impressed I’ve got a boat. It’s more expensive 🤣🤣🤣🤣 However, she is getting far too attached to my boat, has now started looking on Navionics as where she wants to go fishing next and has been bombarding me this week with weather forecast whike she is bored in work to plan out next session. I think I’ve created a monster 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
