Mariner did the twin cylinder Yams  in the states tho, and the E40 Yam was sold globally, still sold today for commercials. Ive struggled to nail down Yam spares as well, even cmsnl show the 3 cylinder variant.

troble is there are a lot of them about, when on the ships i was in singerpore we went down to  a sertin rd in the city, we headed strate to a bar that we used a lot. we wer sat at at table with a few of the  girls, where apon one of the boy ratings came to our table and jioned us after a drink or two, he said is that one yours ( pointing to a yong lady ) i replied nuthing to do with me.he promtly chated her up and went home with her. the chife cook said pete did you tell him that she is a kiteti , no i replied he find out for himself.

I fly fish a bit in freshwater for wild salmon and sea trout, never stocked trout fisheries.  In salt water the options are almost limitless.  One of the best is chasing bass, where you'll catch sea trout, mullet and various flatties as well.  When I was in Hampshire we called mullet Solent Bonefish, they fight better than most other fish.  If you've got mackerel close to the boat a lightweight fly rod will give endless entertainment.  Out on the rocks a sinking line and crab/prawn fly will catch lots of species including wrasse and pollack.  Pollack can be a real handful on a fly rod, had a nine pounder last summer that smashed an eight weight rod!  The great thing is, that like lure fishing, there's bugger all to carry.  As for effectiveness, one of the commercial bass fishermen in The Solent used to fish with rod and fly quite often, keeping his nets out of the water!

The Green or Luminous gummi makks (they look yellow) , baited with a side of mack works .................. we use the Red Gummi Makks for Pollock and never get Ling, just lot of decent Pollock and shed loads of Pout (spinners).
You need to rig your own gummi makks as the pre-rigged sets don't have heavy enough traces to avoid a bite off from the ling ..............
Funny incident last season .......... my wife is not keen on fishing Red Gills or shads , as it is too much like hard work, so she always fishes Red 6/0 Gummi makks on a string of three .............. it was fun watching her struggle with what she thought was a whopper ........... on the string was a 18lb Pollock, a 14lb Pollock, and a large pout ! ....... I told her it was extreme fluff chucking !

We normally find Ling in the deeper water, mainly on wrecks that are over 180 ft deep ...............
They put up an excellent fight, but rarely can you return them as they 'blow' (barotrauma) easily.
You can fish those wrecks all day with lures and never see a Ling (but get plenty of Pollock).......... put on some baited feathers or even just a baited hook (fillet of Mack) on a simple running ledger  and you will soon find the Ling, they are always the first fish to the bait, even quicker than pout ...............  you need a heavy trace as they have some serious teeth ...........an average fish is 15lb - 20lb, my biggest is 34lb ...............
